Make an impact

Advances in medical science come through research. At NIDA, we have been able to learn about how drugs, alcohol, and nicotine affect the body and brain.

Before you join any study at NIDA, we will review details of study participation with you and answer any questions you have. If you join a study, you will need to follow instructions and undergo study procedures to the best of your ability while you are in the study.

Your participation in NIDA research is an important part of our combined mission to turn discovery into health.
