Whether you use substances such as nicotine, alcohol, marijuana, opioids, or cocaine, OR don’t use any substances on a regular basis, you may qualify for a research study at NIDA! Our clinical center is located in Baltimore, Maryland and is easily accessible by car or mass transit.

Baltimore Skyline
All visitors are required to present acceptable documentation at the security checkpoint on the day of the visit and their information is entered into the VisitNIH visitor portal. This is a requirement for NIH to track the visit and for the visitor to receive a day pass for access.

Starting May 7, 2025, all driver’s licenses and state IDs must be REAL ID compliant to access certain federal facilities.
